The Personalized Pink Emotion Thermometer is a visual tool designed to help children better understand, identify, and express their feelings. Inspired by the PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) method, this educational support promotes better communication and develops children's emotional intelligence, particularly for those with specific needs such as autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities. Thanks to this thermometer, children learn to recognize their emotions, put words to them, and manage them better in daily life.

Interactive and intuitive operation

The emotion thermometer is divided into different zones representing the intensity of emotions, ranging from "good" to "sad" or "angry." Here's how it works:

1. Identify the emotion: The child determines where they are on the thermometer based on their current feeling by choosing the corresponding smiley with the emotion examples in the bubble next to it.
2. Associate a pictogram: They then select a pictogram corresponding to their specific emotion (e.g., joy, sadness, frustration) and place it on the thermometer using the hook-and-loop system. (Pictograms not included)
3. Understand and verbalize: By visualizing and associating their feeling with a pictogram, the child can better understand what they are experiencing and express it clearly.

This tool makes identifying and managing emotions accessible, while creating a reassuring space to encourage the child to talk about their feelings. It is ideal for use at home, at school, or in therapeutic settings.
